Adhyaya 47 — Brahma’s Awakening and the Ninefold Scheme of Creation
आपो नारा वै तनव इत्यपां नाम शुश्रुम ।
तासु शेते स यस्माच्च तेन नारायणः स्मृतः ॥
āpo nārā vai tanava ity apāṃ nāma śuśruma / tāsu śete sa yasmāc ca tena nārāyaṇaḥ smṛtaḥ
“Nước quả thật được gọi là nārā”—đó là điều chúng ta đã nghe, như một danh xưng của nước. Và vì Ngài nằm trên những dòng nước ấy, nên Ngài được tưởng niệm là Nārāyaṇa.
