Adhyaya 28Alarka Inquires into Varna and Ashrama Dharma; Madalasa Defines the Fourfold Duties

ततोऽसमानाॠषिकुलां तुल्यां भार्यामरोगिणीम् ।

उद्वहेन्न्यायतोऽव्यङ्गां गृहस्थाश्रमकारणात् ॥

tato 'samānarṣikulāṃ tulyāṃ bhāryām arogīṇīm /

udvahen nyāyato 'vyaṅgāṃ gṛhasthāśramakāraṇāt //

Sau đó, để thiết lập āśrama gia chủ, người ấy nên kết hôn đúng pháp với một người vợ tương xứng về địa vị, không cùng gotra (dòng ṛṣi), khỏe mạnh và không có khiếm khuyết thân thể.
