Adhyaya 15Karmic Retribution: Rebirths After Naraka and the King’s Compassion in Hell

पीडनच्छेददाहादिमहादुःखस्य हेतवः ।

मृदुत्वमागता राजन् तेजसापहता स्तव ॥

pīḍana-ccheda-dāhādi-mahāduḥkhasya hetavaḥ | mṛdutvam āgatā rājan tejasāpahatās tava ||

“Những nguyên nhân của khổ đau lớn—đè nghiền, chém cắt, thiêu đốt và các thứ tương tự—đã trở nên nhẹ đi, tâu Đại vương, vì bị hào quang (tejas) của ngài xua lùi.”
