Adhyaya 15 — Karmic Retribution: Rebirths After Naraka and the King’s Compassion in Hell
भर्तृपिण्डमुपाश्नन् यस्तदिष्टं न निषेवते । सोऽपि मोहसमापन्नो जायते वानरो मृतः ॥
bhartṛpiṇḍamupāśnan yastadiṣṭaṃ na niṣevate / so 'pi mohasamāpanno jāyate vānaro mṛtaḥ
Kẻ nào ăn piṇḍa (lễ vật cúng tế tang nghi) dành cho người chồng, mà không thọ dụng phần đúng phép dành cho mình hay cho nghi lễ, kẻ mê muội ấy khi chết sẽ sinh làm khỉ.
