एषा पद्मपलाशाक्षी सुमध्या चारुहासिनी । सैरन्ध्री द्रौपदी राजन् यस्यार्थे कीचका हता:,राजन! यह विकसित कमलदलके समान विशाल नेत्र, सुन्दर कटिप्रदेश और मनोहर मुसकानवाली सैरन्ध्री ही महारानी द्रौपदी है, जिसके धर्मकी रक्षाके लिये कीचकोंका वध किया गया

eṣā padmapalāśākṣī sumadhyā cāruhāsinī |
sairandhrī draupadī rājan yasyārthe kīcakā hatāḥ ||
Arjuna nói: “Tâu Đại vương, người hầu nữ này—mắt lớn như cánh sen, eo thon, nụ cười dịu ngọt—chính là Hoàng hậu Draupadī. Vì để bảo vệ dharma và danh dự của nàng mà bọn Kīcaka đã bị giết.”
