पाण्डवपरिचयः—विराटसभायां प्रकाशनम्

Identification of the Pāṇḍavas in Virāṭa’s Court

द्रौ्णिं कृपं चैव कुरूंश्व मान्या- जछरैर्विचित्रैरभिवाद्य चैव

drauṇiṁ kṛpaṁ caiva kurūṁś ca mānyān | akṣaraiḥ vicitrair abhivādya caiva ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: Chàng kính cẩn chào Aśvatthāman (con của Droṇa), Kṛpa, cùng các bậc trưởng lão đáng tôn trong dòng Kuru; dâng lời kính lễ bằng những câu chữ được chọn lựa, chỉnh tề và trang trọng, rồi theo đúng lễ nghi mà tiến bước—tôn trọng thứ bậc và thân phận ngay giữa cơn căng thẳng trước cuộc chiến.
