Gāṇḍīva-Nirghoṣa Episode
ततः पार्थो महातेजा विशिखानग्नितेजस: । चिक्षेप समरे क्रुद्धस्त्रयोदश शिलाशितान्
tataḥ pārtho mahātejā viśikhān agnitejasaḥ | cikṣepa samare kruddhas trayodaśa śilāśitān ||
Bấy giờ Pārtha (Arjuna) đại uy quang, nổi giận giữa chiến địa, phóng mười ba mũi tên có đầu được mài trên đá, rực sáng như lửa.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even amid anger, a kṣatriya’s action is expected to remain skillful, deliberate, and aligned with the discipline of righteous combat; power is shown through controlled mastery rather than chaos.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Arjuna, enraged in the midst of battle, releases thirteen fire-bright arrows whose tips have been sharpened on stone, signaling an escalation in the fight through superior archery.
