Bhīṣma–Arjuna Encounter Framed Cosmically
नैतत् समस्तमुभयं कम्मिंश्रचिदनुशुश्रुम । अन्यत्र भारताचार्यात् सपुत्रादिति मे मति:
naitat samastam ubhayaṁ kasmiṁścid anuśuśruma | anyatra bhāratācāryāt saputrād iti me matiḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Chúng ta chưa từng nghe rằng hai sự xuất chúng ấy—trọn vẹn và đồng thời—lại hội đủ nơi một người. Chỉ nơi vị đạo sư của dòng Bhārata là Droṇa, cùng với con trai ông, hai sức mạnh ấy (uy lực brahman và võ lực kṣatra) mới cùng trú ngụ. Ngoài họ ra, không đâu có sự hợp nhất của hai phẩm chất ấy. Đó là niềm tin kiên định của ta.”
