एकश्न्‌ पञ्च वर्षाणि ब्रह्म॒चर्यमधारयत्‌ । एक: सुभद्रामारोप्य द्वैरथे कृष्णमाह्दयत्‌

Transliteration

ekaśan pañca varṣāṇi brahmacaryam adhārayat | ekaḥ subhadrām āropya dvairathe kṛṣṇam āhvayat ||

Translation

Kripa nói: “Chỉ ăn một bữa mỗi ngày, chàng giữ trọn lời thệ brahmacarya suốt năm năm trong kỷ luật khắc nghiệt. Và cũng một mình, chàng đặt Subhadrā lên chiến xa rồi đưa nàng đi, thậm chí còn dám thách thức chính Śrī Kṛṣṇa đấu tay đôi.”
