उत्तरने कहा--अब मैं उनसे नहीं डरता; क्योंकि मैं अच्छी तरह जानता हूँ कि आप संग्रामभूमिमें भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण और साक्षात् इन्द्रके समान स्थिर रहनेवाले हैं ।। इदं तु चिन्तयन्नेवं परिमुह्यामि केवलम् । निश्चयं चापि दुर्मेधा न गच्छामि कथंचन,केवल इसी एक बातको सोचकर मैं ऐसे मोहमें पड़ जाता हूँ कि बुद्धि अच्छी न होनेके कारण किसी तरह भी किसी निश्चयतक नहीं पहुँच पाता
idam tu cintayann evaṁ parimuhyāmi kevalam | niścayaṁ cāpi durmedhā na gacchāmi kathaṁcana ||
“Nhưng cứ xoay đi xoay lại một ý nghĩ ấy trong lòng, ta chỉ rơi vào mịt mù rối loạn. Với trí hiểu kém cỏi của mình, ta chẳng thể nào đạt đến một quyết định vững chắc.”
