Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 25: Kaurava Deliberation and the Search Directive (अन्वेषण-आदेशः)
वर्त्मन्यन्वेष्यमाणा वै रथिनां रथिसत्तम । नहि विद्यो गतिं तेषां वासं हि नरसत्तम,रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ नरोत्तम! हमने रथियोंके मार्गपपर भी उनका अन्वेषण किया है, किंतु वे कहाँ गये और कहाँ रहते हैं? इसका पता हमें नहीं लगा
vartmany anveṣyamāṇā vai rathināṁ rathisattama | na hi vidyo gatiṁ teṣāṁ vāsaṁ hi narasattama ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi bậc tối thượng trong hàng chiến xa, hỡi bậc ưu việt trong loài người! Chúng ta đã dò tìm họ dọc theo những lộ trình của các kỵ xa; nhưng vẫn không thể biết họ đã đi về đâu, hay đang cư ngụ nơi nào.”
