Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 22 — Draupadī’s Abduction Attempt and Bhīma’s Suppression of the Kīcakas
अथैनमाक्षिप्य बलाद् गृहमध्ये वृकोदर: । धूनयामास वेगेन वायुश्नण्ड इव द्रुमम्,फिर जिस प्रकार प्रचण्ड आँधी वृक्षको झकझोर डालती है, उसी प्रकार भीमसेन कीचकको बलपूर्वक धक्के दे-देकर उसे नृत्यशालामें वेगसे घुमाने लगे
athainam ākṣipya balād gṛhamadhye vṛkodaraḥ | dhūnayāmāsa vegena vāyuśṇāṇḍa iva drumam ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Rồi Vṛkodara (Bhīma) chộp lấy hắn, quăng quật bằng sức mạnh ngay trong đại sảnh, lắc hắn dữ dội với tốc độ—như một luồng gió bão hung hãn quật và xoáy một thân cây. Cảnh ấy nhấn mạnh sự thi hành công lý mau lẹ trước sự lạm quyền của Kīcaka và việc bảo vệ danh dự của Draupadī, bằng sức mạnh quyết đoán chứ không phải bằng sự hành hạ kéo dài.
