Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 22 — Draupadī’s Abduction Attempt and Bhīma’s Suppression of the Kīcakas
वैशम्पायन उवाच तथा तौ कथयित्वा तु बाष्पमुत्सूज्य दु:खितौ । रात्रिशेषं तमत्युग्रं धारयामासतुर्ह्ददि,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन्! इस प्रकार बातचीत करके वे दोनों दुःखी दम्पति आँसू बहाकर अलग हुए तथा रात्रिके शेषभागको उन्होंने बड़ी व्याकुल॒तासे बिताया और आपसकी बातचीतको मनमें ही गुप्त रखा
vaiśampāyana uvāca tathā tau kathayitvā tu bāṣpam utsṛjya duḥkhitau | rātriśeṣaṃ tam atyugraṃ dhārayāmāsatur hṛdi ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Nói với nhau như thế xong, hai người—đau khổ tràn đầy—rơi lệ rồi lặng lẽ rút lui. Họ gắng chịu phần đêm còn lại trong cơn bồn chồn dữ dội, giữ kín cuộc đối thoại ấy trong lòng.”
