वैशम्पायन उवाच
The line highlights refined enjoyment within a socially sanctioned setting—pleasures (food and drink) are presented as part of hospitality and comfort, implying enjoyment that remains appropriate to context rather than reckless indulgence.
The narrator Vaiśampāyana describes someone being offered (or partaking of) many sweet, nectar-like drinks and enjoying them freely and comfortably, as part of the scene’s courtly or hospitable atmosphere.
