Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 13 — Kīcaka’s Proposition and Draupadī’s Dharmic Refusal
अज्ञातं च विराटस्य विजित्य वसु धर्मराट् । भ्रातृभ्य: पुरुषव्याप्रो यथा सम्प्रयच्छति,'पुरुषसिंह धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर जूएमें धन जीतकर अपने भाइयोंको यथायोग्य बाँट देते थे।! इसका राजा विराटको भी पता नहीं लगता था
ajñātaṃ ca virāṭasya vijitya vasu dharmarāṭ | bhrātṛbhyaḥ puruṣavyāghro yathā samprayacchati |
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Khi thắng được của cải, đức vua công chính Yudhiṣṭhira—mãnh hổ giữa loài người—liền phân chia cho các em mình đúng theo phần. Mà vua Virāṭa cũng không hề hay biết.”
