Educational Q&A

The verse highlights royal prosperity and the ethic of ordered service: many attendants remain disciplined and obedient to a central authority, reflecting the structured hierarchy expected in a royal household.

The speaker describes a young woman upon reaching youth, surrounded and served by a large retinue—one hundred adorned maidens and one hundred maidservants—who stand ready under her command.
