Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the importance of orderly service (paricaryā) and practical support systems—attendants, transport, and provisions—showing that dharmic life and noble conduct are sustained not only by ideals but also by disciplined organization and responsible roles.

A party proceeds with a substantial retinue: Indrasena and other servants follow behind in more than fourteen chariots, and additional staff—especially those assigned to the great kitchen—also accompany them, indicating a well-equipped journey.
