इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत वनपर्वके अन्तर्गत तीर्थयात्रापर्वमें धौम्यकी तीर्थयात्राविषयक छियासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārata-vanaparva-ke antargata tīrthayātrāparva-meṃ dhaumya-kī tīrthayātrā-viṣayakaḥ chiyāsīvāṃ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Như vậy, trong Śrī Mahābhārata, thuộc Vana Parva, phần Tīrthayātrā, chương thứ tám mươi sáu—kể về cuộc hành hương của Dhaumya—đã kết thúc. Lời kết này đánh dấu sự hoàn tất của một đoạn tường thuật về thánh du, đặt hành hương như một pháp hành có kỷ luật theo dharma, thanh lọc ý nguyện và củng cố chí hướng đạo đức giữa muôn vàn gian khổ.”
