Chapter 82

भीष्म उवाच प्रीते त्वयि महाभाग सर्वलोकाभिपूजिते । कृतमेतावता मन्ये यदहं दृष्टवान्‌ प्रभुम्‌,भीष्मजीने कहा--महाभाग! आप सम्पूर्ण लोकों-द्वारा पूजित हैं। आपके प्रसन्न हो जानेपर मुझे क्या नहीं मिला? आप-जैसे शक्तिशाली महर्षिका मुझे दर्शन हुआ, इतनेहीसे मैं अपनेको कृतकृत्य मानता हूँ

bhīṣma uvāca—prīte tvayi mahābhāga sarvalokābhipūjite | kṛtam etāvatā manye yad ahaṃ dṛṣṭavān prabhum ||

Bhīṣma thưa: “Bậc cao quý, được mọi thế giới tôn thờ—khi Ngài đã hoan hỷ, còn điều gì mà ta chưa đạt? Chỉ riêng việc được chiêm kiến Đấng Chúa Tể cũng đủ để ta xem mình đã viên mãn mục đích.”
