घुलस्त्य उवाच
Dharma is upheld through disciplined sacred practice: one should approach a tīrtha with niyama (self-restraint and rule-bound conduct), perform purifying bath/ablution, and actively honor both devas and pitṛs—linking personal purification with gratitude and duty to cosmic and familial orders.
The speaker (Ghulastya) gives a prescriptive instruction to a Kuru prince: go to the Kumārakoṭi pilgrimage site, bathe there according to observances, and engage in worship of the gods and offerings to the ancestors, as part of a broader tīrtha-yātrā or dharmic guidance sequence.
