Transliteration

grāmān bahūn atikramya nādhyagacchad yathā-tatham | alpa-kārya vinirdiṣṭaṃ tasyāgamanakāraṇam ||

Translation

Bṛhadaśva nói: “Dẫu đã đi qua nhiều làng mạc, ông vẫn không thể biết rõ sự việc đúng như thực. Công việc được nói ra thì nhỏ và thường, nhưng nguyên do thật sự của chuyến đến ấy không thể biết chắc.”
