Damayantī’s Lament, Serpent-Seizure, Rescue by the Hunter, and the Curse
तैः समेत्य विनिश्चित्य सो<नुज्ञातो महीपते । ययौ मिथुनमारोप्य विदर्भास्तेन वाहिना,राजन्! उनसे मिलकर इस विषयपर भलीभाँति विचार करके उन मन्त्रियोंकी आज्ञा ले सारथि वार्ष्णेयने दोनों बालकोंको रथपर बैठाकर विदर्भ देशको प्रस्थान किया
taiḥ sametya viniścitya so 'nujñāto mahīpate | yayau mithunam āropya vidarbhās tena vāhinā ||
Tâu Đại vương, sau khi gặp họ và suy xét cẩn trọng việc ấy, người ấy đã được họ thuận cho. Rồi người đánh xe Vārṣṇeya đặt hai đứa trẻ lên cỗ xe và theo đúng sự ủy thuận cùng lời bàn thận trọng mà lên đường hướng về xứ Vidarbha—không phải hành động bằng sức mạnh bồng bột, mà bằng phép tắc và quyền lệnh.
