दमयन्त्याः कार्यनिश्चयः — Damayantī’s Crisis Plan and Vārṣṇeya’s Departure

दमयन्ती तथा वाग्भिरभिनन्द्य कृताज्जलि: । तौ परस्परत: प्रीतौ दृष्टवा त्वग्निपुरोगमान्‌

damayantī tathā vāgbhir abhinandya kṛtāñjaliḥ | tau parasparataḥ prītau dṛṣṭvā tv agnipurogamān ||

Damayantī chắp tay cung kính, dùng lời nhã nhặn mà chào mừng họ. Thấy hai người đều hoan hỷ với nhau, nàng liền đưa mắt nhìn về phía những vị đang tiến bước với Agni dẫn đầu—một điềm lành xác chứng sự hòa hợp của họ và sự đúng đắn trong hành vi ấy.
