Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Sañjaya on Arjuna’s Indraloka report and the political consequences
त्वत्कृते5हं सुरेशेन प्रेषितो वरवर्णिनि । प्रियं कुरु महेन्द्रस्य मम चैवात्मनश्व ह,“वरवर्णिनि! देवेश्वर इन्द्रने तुम्हारे लिये एक संदेश देकर मुझे भेजा है। तुम उसे सुनकर महेन्द्रका, मेरा तथा मुझसे अपना भी प्रिय कार्य करो”
tvatkṛte'haṃ sureśena preṣito varavarṇini | priyaṃ kuru mahendrasya mama caivātmanaś ca ha ||
Arjuna nói: “Vì nàng, hỡi người thiếu nữ dung sắc thanh tú, ta được Chúa tể chư thiên sai đến. Hãy nghe lời nhắn này và làm điều khiến Đại Đế Indra hài lòng, khiến ta hài lòng, và cũng khiến chính chân tâm của nàng được an vui.”
