यो<थीते गुरुशुश्रूषां मेधां चाष्टगुणा श्रयाम् । ब्रह्मचर्येण दाक्ष्येण प्रसवैर्वयसापि च
yo ’thīte guruśuśrūṣāṁ medhāṁ cāṣṭaguṇāṁ śrayām | brahmacaryeṇa dākṣyeṇa prasavair vayasāpi ca
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Kẻ nào đã tận tụy phụng sự thầy tổ, và nương tựa nơi trí tuệ sắc bén đủ tám phẩm tính ưu việt—lại còn được nâng đỡ bởi kỷ luật phạm hạnh, sự tháo vát trong việc làm, sự chín muồi theo các chặng đời, và cả bởi tuổi tác—(thì xứng đáng gánh vác trách nhiệm đã định).”
