प्रियमेव तु सर्वेषां यद्‌ ब्रवीम्युत किंचन । सर्वे हि व्यसन प्राप्ता: सर्वे युद्धाभिनन्दिन:,मैं जो कुछ कहता हूँ, वह सबको प्रिय है। हम सब लोग संकटमें पड़े हैं और सभी युद्धका अभिनन्दन करते हैं

priyam eva tu sarveṣāṁ yad bravīmy uta kiñcana | sarve hi vyasana-prāptāḥ sarve yuddhābhinandinaḥ ||

Bhīmasena nói: “Điều ít ỏi ta nói đây cốt để làm vừa lòng mọi người. Bởi chúng ta đều đã bị tai ương vây phủ, và tất thảy đều hoan nghênh viễn cảnh chiến trận.”
