सृञ्जयै: सह कैकेयैर्वष्णीनां वृषभेण च । कथंस्विद्‌ युधि कौन्तेय न राज्यं प्राप्तुयामहे,“कुन्तीनन्दन! सूंजय और कैकयवंशी वीरों तथा वृष्णिवंशावतंस भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णके साथ होकर हम संग्राममें अपना राज्य कैसे नहीं प्राप्त कर लेंगे?

sṛñjayaiḥ saha kaikeyair vṛṣṇīnāṃ vṛṣabheṇa ca | kathaṃ svid yudhi kaunteya na rājyaṃ prāptuyāmahe ||

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi con của Kuntī, có các Sṛñjaya và Kaikeya cùng sát cánh, lại có ‘tráng ngưu của dòng Vṛṣṇi’ làm đồng minh, sao chúng ta có thể không giành lại vương quốc của mình trong chiến trận?”
