Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: “Cũng vậy, hỡi con yêu, thần Mặt Trời Vivasvān—rực rỡ vô song—đã ẩn mình cư trú trên mặt đất, và nhờ sự hiện diện kín đáo ấy mà thiêu đốt mọi kẻ thù khắp bốn phương.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Power guided by dharma need not always be displayed openly; at times, restraint and concealment (chadman) can be a righteous means to neutralize hostility and protect order, as illustrated through the Sun-god’s hidden presence that destroys enemies.
Vaiśaṃpāyana gives an illustrative comparison: Vivasvān (the Sun) is said to have lived on earth in a concealed form and, through his supreme radiance, burned up all hostile forces everywhere—an example of hidden, effective divine action.
