तवाभिसंधि: सुभगे सूर्यात्‌ पुत्रो भवेदिति | वीर्येणाप्रतिमो लोके कवची कुण्डलीति च,सुभगे! तुम्हारे मनमें यह संकल्प उठा था कि 'सूर्यदेवसे मुझे एक ऐसा पुत्र प्राप्त हो, जो संसारमें अनुपम पराक्रमी तथा जन्मसे ही दिव्य कवच एवं कुण्डलोंसे सुशोभित हो'

Transliteration

tavābhisaṃdhiḥ subhage sūryāt putro bhaved iti | vīryeṇāpratimo loke kavacī kuṇḍalīti ca ||

Translation

Sūrya nói: “Hỡi người phụ nữ phúc hậu, ý nguyện thầm kín của nàng là: ‘Nguyện ta có một người con từ Thần Mặt Trời—dũng mãnh vô song trong thiên hạ, và từ khi chào đời đã mang giáp thần cùng đôi khuyên tai thiêng.’”
