युधिछिर उवाच त्वं भानो जगतत्नक्षुस्त्वमात्मा सर्वदेहिनाम् । त्वं योनि: सर्वभूतानां त्वमाचार: क्रियावताम्,युधिष्ठिर बोले--सूर्यदेव! आप सम्पूर्ण जगतके नेत्र तथा समस्त प्राणियोंके आत्मा हैं। आप ही सब जीवोंके उत्पत्तिस्थान और कर्मानुष्ठानमें लगे हुए पुरुषोंके सदाचार हैं
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: tvaṃ bhāno jagat-tanakṣuḥ tvam ātmā sarva-dehinām | tvaṃ yoniḥ sarva-bhūtānāṃ tvam ācāraḥ kriyāvatām ||
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Ôi Thần Mặt Trời, Ngài là con mắt của toàn thế gian, là Chân Ngã bên trong của mọi loài hữu thân. Ngài là nguồn phát sinh của muôn loài, và là chuẩn mực của hạnh kiểm đúng đắn cho những ai tận tụy với hành động theo chính pháp.”
