सूर्य–कर्णोपदेशः
Sūrya’s Counsel to Karṇa on Kīrti and the Kuṇḍala
वृत: कोटिसहस्रेण वानराणां तरस्विनाम् । श्वशुरो वालिन: श्रीमान् सुषेणो राममभ्ययात्,सबसे पहले वालीके श्वशुर श्रीमान् सुषेण श्रीरामचन्द्रजीकी सेवामें उपस्थित हुए। उनके साथ वेगशाली वानरोंकी सहस्र कोटि (दस अरब) सेना थी
vṛtaḥ koṭisahasreṇa vānarāṇāṃ tarasvinām | śvaśuro vālinaḥ śrīmān suṣeṇo rāmam abhyayāt ||
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Được vây quanh bởi một ngàn koṭi vānara nhanh nhẹn và dũng mãnh, Suṣeṇa lẫy lừng—nhạc phụ của Vālin—đã tiến đến trước Rāma.”
