Draupadī’s Lament and the Question of Kṣatriya Forbearance (द्रौपद्याः शोकप्रलापः क्षमानिर्णयश्च)
श्रेयो यदत्र धर्मज्ञ ब्रूहि मे तदसंशयम् । करिष्यामि हि तत् सर्व यथावदनुशासनम्,धर्मज्ञ! इनमें जो श्रेष्ठ है, वह मुझे अवश्य बताइये, मैं आपके सब आदेशोंका यथावत् पालन करूँगा
śreyo yad atra dharmajña brūhi me tad asaṁśayam | kariṣyāmi hi tat sarvaṁ yathāvad anuśāsanam ||
“Hỡi bậc am tường dharma, xin nói cho ta không chút nghi ngờ điều gì là tốt nhất trong việc này. Vì ta sẽ thực hành trọn vẹn, đúng như mọi lời chỉ dạy của ngài.”
