रावण–मारीचसंवादः तथा मृगप्रलोभनपूर्वकं सीताहरणोपक्रमः
Rāvaṇa–Mārīca Dialogue and the Decoy-Deer Prelude to Sītā’s Abduction
तत्रापि स महाभाग: सुखभागभिजायते । न चेत् सम्बुध्यते तत्र गच्छत्यधमतां तत:,वहाँ भी वह महाभाग मानव सुखके साधनोंसे सम्पन्न होकर ही उत्पन्न होता है। परंतु यदि मानवयोनिमें वह अपने कर्तव्यको न समझे, तो उससे भी नीची योनिमें चला जाता है
tatrāpi sa mahābhāgaḥ sukhabhāgabhijāyate | na cet sambudhyate tatra gacchaty adhamatāṃ tataḥ ||
“Ngay trong kiếp người ấy, kẻ hữu phúc vẫn sinh ra với phần hưởng và phương tiện của hạnh phúc. Nhưng nếu ở thân phận làm người mà không tỉnh thức để hiểu bổn phận của mình, thì từ đó lại rơi xuống những cảnh giới thấp hơn nữa.”
