Rāmopākhyāna—Rāma–Sītā Origins and the Opening of Rāvaṇa’s Genealogy

इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ाभारत वनपवके अन्तर्गत घोषयात्रापर्वमें दुर्योधनका यज्ञविषयक दो सौ छप्पनवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Iti prakāraḥ Śrīmahābhārata-Vanaparvaṇi antargata-Ghoṣayātrāparvaṇi Duryodhanasya yajñaviṣayakaḥ dviśata-ṣaṭpañcāśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.

Như vậy kết thúc chương thứ hai trăm năm mươi sáu trong tiểu phần Ghoṣayātrā thuộc Vana Parva của Śrī Mahābhārata, nói về việc tế lễ của Duryodhana. Lời kết (colophon) này đánh dấu sự hoàn tất của một đơn vị tự sự, đồng thời ngầm nhắc người nghe rằng sự phô trương nghi lễ do kiêu mạn hay ganh đua khác hẳn với hiến tế đặt nền trên dharma.
