एवमुक्तस्तदा कर्णो धार्तराष्ट्रेण धीमता । सर्वमाज्ञापयामास प्रायात्रिकमरिंदम,जनमेजय! बुद्धिमान् दुर्योधनके इस प्रकार कहनेपर कर्णने यात्रासम्बन्धी सारी आवश्यक तैयारीके लिये आज्ञा दे दी

Bấy giờ, được Dhārtarāṣṭra (Duryodhana) bậc trí giả nói như thế, Karṇa—kẻ nghiền nát quân thù—liền truyền lệnh chuẩn bị đầy đủ mọi điều cần thiết cho cuộc hành trình sắp tới, tỏ rõ lòng trung thành mau mắn và sự sẵn sàng hành động để nâng đỡ đồng minh.
