ततो<परैरवार्यन्त गन्धर्वै: कुरुसैनिका: । ते वार्यमाणा गन्धर्वै: साम्नैव वसुधाधिप

Transliteration

tato 'parair avāryanta gandharvaiḥ kuru-sainikāḥ | te vāryamāṇā gandharvaiḥ sāmnaiva vasudhādhipa, tatas te khecarāḥ sarve citrasenam nyavedayan |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: Rồi các binh sĩ Kuru bị những Gandharva khác ngăn lại. Tuy các Gandharva chỉ dùng lời lẽ hòa nhã, cầu hòa để can gián, quân ấy vẫn khinh thường lời cảnh báo và cứ tiến vào. Khi toàn thể Kaurava, có vua Duryodhana ở giữa, không chịu dừng lại dù đã bị khuyên răn bằng lời, thì tất cả các Gandharva du hành trên không liền tâu trình mọi việc lên vua Citrasena.
