धृतराष्ट्रस्य क्रतु-प्रवर्तनम् तथा पाण्डवानां निमन्त्रण-प्रतिवचनम्

Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Sacrifice Commences and the Pandavas’ Reply to the Invitation

ते वध्यमाना गन्धर्वा: सूतपुत्रेण धीमता

te vadhyamānā gandharvāḥ sūtaputreṇa dhīmatā | āpatad dhi mahāvegaiś citrasenasya sainikaiḥ ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: Khi các Gandharva bị Karna, người con của kẻ đánh xe đầy trí tuệ, đánh gục, thì những đạo quân cực kỳ mau lẹ của Citrasena cứ liên tiếp xông tới. Càng bị tấn công, họ càng tụ về đó hàng trăm, hàng nghìn, đến nỗi chỉ trong khoảnh khắc, mặt đất như hóa thành biển quân Gandharva, dày đặc khắp nơi.
