वनप्रस्थानम् (Departure for the Forest) — Āraṇyaka-parva, Adhyāya 24

अजुन उवाच भवानेव महर्षीणां वृद्धानां पर्युपासिता । अज्ञातं मानुषे लोके भवतो नास्ति किंचन,अर्जुन बोले--आर्य! आप स्वयं ही बड़े-बड़े ऋषियों तथा वृद्ध पुरुषोंका संग करनेवाले हैं। इस मनुष्यलोकमें कोई ऐसी वस्तु नहीं है, जो आपको ज्ञात न हो

arjuna uvāca bhavān eva maharṣīṇāṁ vṛddhānāṁ paryupāsitā | ajñātaṁ mānuṣe loke bhavato nāsti kiñcana ||

Arjuna nói: “Bạch ngài, chính ngài đã từ lâu hầu cận các đại hiền triết và những bậc trưởng lão đáng kính. Trong cõi người này, không có điều gì là còn ẩn khuất đối với ngài.”
