तानि सर्वाणि वाक्यानि यच्चान्यत् परिदेवितम् । विचिन्त्य नाधिगच्छामि गमनायेतराय वा
tāni sarvāṇi vākyāni yac cānyat paridevitam | vicintya nādhigacchāmi gamanāyetarāya vā ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Suy ngẫm tất cả những lời ấy, cùng mọi lời than vãn khác đã thốt ra, ta vẫn không thể đi đến một quyết định rõ ràng—rằng nên ra đi hay nên làm cách khác.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even after hearing many arguments and expressions of grief, one may still fail to discern the dharmically best course; the verse highlights the need for clearer discernment beyond emotion and conflicting counsel.
The narrator reports a moment of unresolved deliberation: after considering all that was said and the accompanying lamentation, no definite conclusion is reached about whether to depart or to choose an alternative course.
