Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Rồi Skanda, dũng lực vô song, nhấc lên cây cung mênh mông khiến người nghe rợn tóc—chính là vũ khí mà Đấng Thế Tôn Śiva, kẻ diệt Tripura, thuở trước đã dùng để tiêu diệt quân thù của chư thiên. Cầm cung trong tay, Skanda gầm lên như sấm, báo hiệu ý chí thần linh trỗi dậy chống lại những thế lực đe dọa trật tự vũ trụ.”

Divine power is portrayed as being exercised for the protection of dharma: formidable weapons and strength are legitimate when directed toward restraining forces that endanger cosmic and moral order, not for personal gain.
Mārkaṇḍeya narrates that Skanda picks up an awe-inspiring, massive bow associated with Śiva’s destruction of Tripura and the gods’ enemies, and then roars loudly—an announcement of readiness and divine resolve before action.
