Kaurava Court Hears of the Pāṇḍavas’ Forest Hardship (वैचित्रवीर्यवंशीयस्य राज्ञः करुणाविचारः)
सदैवावां भगिन्यौ तु सखीभि: सह मानसम् | आगच्छावेह रत्यर्थमनुज्ञाप्य प्रजापतिम्,हम दोनों बहिनें अपनी सखियोंके साथ प्रजापतिकी आज्ञा लेकर सदा क्रीडाविहारके लिये इस मानस पर्वतपर आया करती थीं
sadaivāvāṃ bhaginayau tu sakhībhiḥ saha mānasam | āgacchāveha ratyartham anujñāpya prajāpatiṃ ||
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Chúng ta, hai chị em, cùng các bạn hữu, vẫn thường đến đây, lên núi Mānasaparvata để vui chơi tiêu dao, nhưng chỉ sau khi đã xin phép Prajāpati.”
