हृष्टपुष्टजनाकीर्णा नित्योत्सवसमाकुलाम्‌ | सो<पश्यद्‌ बहुवृत्तान्तां ब्राह्मण: समतिक्रमन्‌

hṛṣṭapuṣṭajanākīrṇā nityotsavasamākulām | so 'paśyad bahuvṛttāntāṃ brāhmaṇaḥ samatikraman

Mārkaṇḍeya nói: Khi vị Bà-la-môn ấy tiếp tục lên đường, ông trông thấy một thành phố đông nghịt những người vui tươi, cường tráng và sung túc, lúc nào cũng náo nhiệt vì lễ hội không dứt, lại đầy ắp bao cảnh tượng và biến cố—một vẻ thịnh vượng bề ngoài khiến người ta phải suy ngẫm về những nguyên nhân vô hình của phúc lộc và những bổn phận của dharma nâng đỡ nó.
