इदं तु पुण्यमाख्यानं विष्णो: समनुकीर्तनम्
idaṃ tu puṇyam ākhyānaṃ viṣṇoḥ samanukīrtanam
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Đây quả là một thiên truyện linh thiêng—một dòng tán dương và thuật kể không gián đoạn về Viṣṇu. Ai nghe và truyền tụng sẽ được dẫn về sự thanh tịnh của tâm và lòng sùng kính bền vững, vì nhờ tưởng niệm Đấng Thiêng Liêng mà người nghe luôn được đặt đúng trong dharma.”
