धुन्धुमार इति ख्यातो नाम्नाप्रतिरथो5भवत् | उस समय महामना राजा कुवलाश्व धुन्धुको मारनेके कारण “धुन्धुमार” नामसे विख्यात हो गये। उनका सामना करनेवाला वीर कोई नहीं रह गया था
Dhundhumāra iti khyāto nāmnāpratiratho 'bhavat |
Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Vì đã diệt Dhundhu, vị vua đại tâm Kuvalāśva được tôn xưng là ‘Dhundhumāra’. Ngài trở thành dũng sĩ vô song, đến nỗi không ai còn có thể đứng đối diện mà chống đỡ.”
