सम्यग्‌ वर्षति पर्जन्ये सस्यसम्पद उत्तमा: । निरामया: सुधर्मिष्ठा: प्रजा धर्मपरायणा:,इन्द्रके शासनकालमें मेघ ठीक समयपर अच्छी वर्षा करते और खेतीकी उपज अच्छी होती थी। सारी प्रजा रोग-व्याधिसे रहित, धर्ममें स्थित तथा धर्मको ही अपना परम आश्रय माननेवाली थी

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

samyag varṣati parjanye sasyasampada uttamāḥ |

nirāmayāḥ sudharmiṣṭhāḥ prajā dharmaparāyaṇāḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: Khi mây mưa đổ đúng mùa, mùa màng bội thu. Dân chúng không bệnh tật, vững vàng trong nề nếp thiện hạnh, và lấy Dharma làm nơi nương tựa tối thượng.
