कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

अनन्तरिक्षे लोके5स्मिन् देवदानववर्जिते । त्वमेव प्रलये विप्र ब्रह्माणमुपतिष्ठसे,ब्रह्म! जब यह संसार देवता, दानव तथा अन्तरिक्ष आदि लोकोंसे शून्य हो जाता है उस प्रलयकालमें केवल आप ही ब्रह्माजीके पास रहकर उनकी उपासना करते हैं
anantarikṣe loke 'smin devadānavavarjite | tvam eva pralaye vipra brahmāṇam upatiṣṭhase ||
“Hỡi brāhmaṇa, vào thời kỳ đại hủy diệt, khi thế gian này—kể cả cõi trung giới—trở nên trống vắng, không còn chư thiên hay a-tu-la, thì chỉ một mình ngài còn lại, hầu cận Brahmā trong lòng tôn kính.”
