मनुर्मनुजशार्दूल तस्मिन्‌ शृद्गे न्यवेशयत्‌ | संयतस्तेन पाशेन मत्स्य: परपुरंजय

manur manujaśārdūla tasmin śṛṅge nyaveśayat | saṁyatastena pāśena matsyaḥ parapuraṁjaya ||

Mārkaṇḍeya nói: “Hỡi bậc hùng dũng giữa loài người! Manu đặt thòng lọng ấy lên chiếc sừng kia. Bị trói chặt bởi thòng lọng đó, con cá—kẻ chinh phục thành trì của địch—được giữ vững chắc.”
