बहुवत्सरजीवी च मार्कण्डेयो महातपा: । स्वाध्यायतपसा युक्तः क्षिप्रं युष्मान्‌ समेष्यति,एक शुभ समाचार और है, चिरंजीवी महातपस्वी मार्कण्डेय मुनि, जो स्वाध्याय और तपस्यामें संलग्न रहा करते हैं, शीघ्र ही आपलोगोंसे मिलेंगे

Transliteration

bahuvatsarajīvī ca mārkaṇḍeyo mahātapāḥ | svādhyāyatapasā yuktaḥ kṣipraṃ yuṣmān sameṣyati ||

Translation

Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: “Và còn có tin lành nữa: hiền giả Mārkaṇḍeya trường thọ, bậc đại khổ hạnh—luôn chuyên chú vào thánh học và khổ hạnh—sẽ sớm đến gặp các ngài.”
