Kailāsa-darśana, Badarī-vāsa, and Sarasvatī–Dvaitavana Transition (कैलासदर्शन–बदरीवास–सरस्वतीद्वैतवनगमनम्)

नाशबवनुवं॑ पीडयितु ते तु मां प्रत्यपीडयन्‌ उस युद्धमें दिव्यास्त्रों द्वारा अभिमन्त्रित बाणोंकी वर्षा करके भी मैं उन्हें पीड़ित न कर सका; परंतु वे मुझे बहुत पीड़ा देने लगे

na śaknomy ahaṁ pīḍayituṁ te tu māṁ pratyapīḍayan | tasmin yuddhe divyāstrair abhimantritāṇāṁ bāṇānāṁ varṣaṁ kṛtvāpi na tān pīḍayituṁ śaknomi; te tu māṁ bahu pīḍayanti ||

Arjuna nói: “Ta không thể làm họ tổn hại. Ngay trong trận ấy, dẫu ta trút xuống mưa tên được gia trì bởi thần khí và được chú nguyện bằng chân ngôn, ta vẫn không thể khuất phục họ; trái lại, họ bắt đầu hành hạ ta dữ dội.”
