पर्वतैरुपचीयद्धि: पतमानैस्तथापरै: | स देशो यत्र वर्ताम गुहेव समपद्यत,नीचे पर्वतोंके ढेर लग रहे थे और ऊपरसे नयी-नयी चट्टानें पड़ रही थीं। इससे वह प्रदेश जहाँ हमलोग मौजूद थे, एक गुफाके समान बन गया
parvatair upacīyad dhiḥ patamānais tathāparaiḥ | sa deśo yatra vartāma guheva samapadyata ||
Arjuna nói: “Những đống núi đá chất chồng lên nhau, lại còn những tảng khác cứ rơi ầm ầm từ trên xuống; vì thế nơi chúng ta đứng dường như biến thành một hang động—bị vây kín và bít bùng bốn phía.”
अजुन उवाच

Arjuna reports a sudden, hazardous scene: rocks and mountain-masses are piling up below while more stones fall from above, enclosing the Pandavas’ location so that it becomes like a cave—suggesting entrapment and imminent danger.
